UR ART 2022 –  “Picture a Tree for the Jubilee!”

As part of the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations, The Queen’s Green Canopy (QGC) is encouraging people across the country to enhance the environment by planting trees.

For UR ART 2022 we invite you to “Picture a Tree for the Jubilee”. Send us your drawings, paintings, pastels, collages (anything goes!) of what kind of tree or trees you would plant and why.

Perhaps you would plant a giant horse chestnut tree and build a fantasy tree house in it!

Maybe you would plant a woodland glade to encourage wildlife?

A fairy woodland? An adventure tree-top walk!!! The possibilities are endless and we’d love to see your ideas.

If you need some inspiration we will be running two free online workshops during the May half term week on Tuesday 31st May and Thursday 2nd June. Click here to book your places.

Each entry submitted will receive a special UR ART 2022 Jubilee Certificate and will be displayed in the UR ART 2022 Online Gallery. Two lucky winners will receive Leeds Castle Family tickets (for 2 adults and up to 3 children) valid for 12 months for as many visits as you like!

CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES IS Sunday 26th June. Winners will be notified by Thursday 30th June
