Joined the board in May 2025
Tendayi is Senior Lecturer in BA Interior Design at Chelsea College of Art, London, With a background in community arts, further and higher education, and a long-standing commitment to equity and access in the arts, Tendayi is passionate about supporting Talk About Art to make creativity more inclusive and accessible—particularly for young people. Over the years, she has had the privilege of working with a wide range of young people in educational and community settings. This experience has shaped a core belief that creativity is a primary lens through which individuals, especially young people, understand and engage with the world. Yet, many educational and professional spaces do not adequately nurture this potential. In previous teaching and in her current role as a Senior Lecturer, she has seen how a consistent exposure to arts and culture can transform confidence, deepen critical thinking, and foster a broad, transferable skill set that benefits young people far beyond the classroom
