Talk About Art are actively seeking referrals of teenagers dealing with mental health issues to a new online project Picture My World.  We currently have ten places available. Picture My World does not offer therapy or counselling. This is an opportunity for referred young people to explore ways of expressing themselves through the visual arts in a safe and supported way. It is particularly suited to school refusers and those with high anxiety.

The online sessions will be led by practising artist, Pauline Flannery, a contemporary colourist who creates abstract work structured around words. Pauline’s background is in education and theatre, working with a wide age range 11 to 65+. She has worked with secondary students for whom school is challenging or those with mental or physical conditions which has interrupted full time education.

We have ten places available offered free of charge. To refer someone to the project please contact TAA CEO Melanie Jones  melanie@mjassoc.co.uk
